The setting: a mountain that drops steeply into the Mediterranean, a succession of terraces, a plunging view of the sea, and a labyrinth of citrus fruits. Welcome to Domaine Gannac!
It is necessary to have personal transportation when the shuttle service is not available. Indeed, accessing by bus is not possible due to the incompatible schedules of line 6.
In this Ali Baba’s cave where Laurent Gannac, head of cultivation, passionately mixes and accumulates citrus fruits, eucalyptus, laurels, avocado trees, banana trees, and exotic plants, you will discover the universe, the history, and the passion of Maison Gannac for Menton, its citrus fruits, and the famous Menton IGP Lemon. How was Maison Gannac born, how many citrus fruits are cultivated, how did the Lemon arrive in Menton, what is the IGP Menton Lemon, ...? Citrus fruits will have almost (no more) secrets for you!
After the guided tour, Maison Gannac offers a tasting of its organic fine grocery range made in Menton with citrus fruits cultivated in its seven orchards. Limoncello, jams, lemonade, terrine, olive paste, rums, ... will you resist?
Concerned about the environment, Maison Gannac has equipped its Estate with dry toilets. We thank visitors for respecting the usage instructions.
As the orchard of the Estate is steep, we advise against the visit for people with reduced mobility. Don’t forget to come with good sneakers or walking shoes, it will make the visit more enjoyable!
